WDDM-Phase 9B Developments

The West Delta Deep Marine (WDDM) concession is located at the north-western margin of the Nile Delta, approximately 90 km offshore. The scope of the phase 9b project includes drilling eight subsea development wells and tying them in to the existing subsea infrastructure in two campaigns within the WDDM concession area.

Phase III: Khalda Increases Gas Production at Hydra Field

Khalda Petroleum Company (KPC), an Egyptian joint venture (JV) between the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and the US firm Apache, launched the Hydra Gas Development project at its Hydra pressured gas condensate field in the country’s Western Desert.

KPC ACHIEVED PEAK GAS RATE AT QASR FIELD

Khalda Petroleum Company (KPC) launched the Qasr Gas Compression Project at Egypt’s Qasr reservoir. The objective was to speed up reservoir recovery and maximize the achievement of the peak gas rate, which corresponded to as much as 800 million standard cubic feet per day, when the scheme was proposed.

INFRASTRUCTURE PLANS AT ALAM EL SHAWISH EAST

Tanmia Petroleum Company, under the supervision of Petrosannan Company, launched the Early Gas Production Facility Project at the AESE-6 Concession Area, in Alam El Shawish East, to boost daily gas output to around 20.8 million cubic feet per day, in addition to 800-900 billion barrels per day of condensate.

GUPCO Targets Rehabilitation of Its M36 Platform

Gulf Of Suez Petroleum Company (GUPCO) is conducting a rehabilitation project for the company’s M36 platform with an overall cost saving along the project duration, which amounted to $40.39 million.

South Abu Zenima Petroleum Company (Petrozenima) has been established as a joint venture company between Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and National Petroleum Company (NPC) to carry out Muzhil Field Development in South Abu Zenima Concession.
