Shell USA, Shell Midstream Partners Announce Merger Agreement

Today, Shell USA and Shell Midstream Partner announced that they had signed a definitive agreement and plan of merger (collectively, the "Transaction"); according to this agreement, Shell USA will purchase all of the common units that the general public holds that represent limited partner interests in SHLX (the "Public Common Units") for a price of $15.85 per Public Common Unit, or roughly $1.96 billion.
