Japanese Companies Study to Produce E-Methane Gas in U.S, Liquify at Cameron LNG Plant
The Four Japanese Companies Tokyo Gas, Osaka Gas Toho Gas and Mitsubishi Corporation have entered into an agreement to conduct a detailed joint feasibility study on a project to produce synthetic methane (e-methane) in Texas or Louisiana, liquefy it at the Cameron LNG facility, and transport it to Japan by other infrastructures including LNG ships and receiving terminals in Japan.
