Shell Lubricants Egypt Signs Partnership with TAQA Petroleum to Expand Nationwide Distribution

Shell Lubricants Egypt has signed a partnership agreement with TAQA Petroleum, a subsidiary of TAQA Arabia, to expand the availability of its lubricants and coolants across Egypt through TAQA’s service station network.

Under the agreement, TAQA service stations will offer some of Shell products catering to different vehicle categories, including Shell Helix for passenger cars, Shell Advance for motorcycles, and Shell Rimula for heavy-duty vehicles. The offering will also include Spirax transmission fluids and advanced cooling solutions.

The partnership aims to provide motorists across Egypt with easier access to Shell’s products, supporting vehicle maintenance and engine performance through TAQA Petroleum’s nationwide retail network.

The collaboration reflects both companies’ efforts to expand the availability of high-performance automotive products and enhance services for customers across Egypt.

In September, Shell Lubricants and TAQA Arabia announced their partnership. The partnership builds on TAQA Petroleum’s retail footprint, which reached 72 service stations across Egypt in May 2026, strengthening Shell’s access to motorists across several governorates.

In June, TAQA Arabia has entered into an agreement with the National Service Projects Organization (NSPO) to purchase a stake in 172 Wataniya-branded fuel stations.

Shell Lubricants is a business division of Shell specializing in the production and marketing of lubricants, including engine oils, industrial lubricants, transmission fluids, and coolants for automotive and industrial applications.

TAQA Arabia is an Egyptian energy and utilities company operating across several sectors, including fuel distribution, natural gas, power generation, and renewable energy.
