Shell Lubricants Egypt has partnered with TAQA Petroleum to make its lubricants and coolants available across TAQA Petroleum service stations, expanding access to the products for motorists across Egypt, according to Shell’s statement.

The partnership will cover Shell Helix for passenger cars, Shell Advance for motorcycles and Shell Rimula for heavy-duty vehicles, alongside Shell Spirax transmission fluids and Shell coolants.

Haitham Yehia, Chairman and CEO of Shell Lubricants Egypt, said the partnership will bring the company closer to motorists with different vehicle and operating needs.

“Through this partnership with TAQA Petroleum, our full product range will soon be available across its network, making it more convenient for motorists across Egypt to access the right product for their needs,” Yehia said.

Mohamed Nafea, Managing Director of TAQA Petroleum, said the companies aim to serve a broad range of motorists, from private car and motorcycle owners to commercial and heavy-duty vehicle operators.

“We are pleased to collaborate with Shell Lubricants Egypt to offer our customers a comprehensive range of its products,” Nafea said, adding that the range includes engine oils, coolants and transmission fluids.

The partnership gives Shell access to TAQA Petroleum’s growing retail network. In May 2026, TAQA Arabia said three new stations had expanded the network to 72 locations.

The agreement also expands Shell’s reach in Egypt under Yehia, who was appointed Chairman and CEO of Shell Lubricants Egypt in 2024.
