Egypt Plans to Achieve Diversity in Clean Energy Resources by 2025: El Molla

The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, affirmed that Egypt conducted international and regional partnerships, during the last few years, to trade and distribute petroleum products and natural gas with countries in the East Mediterranean, United States and European Union (UN) in light of its target to be converted into regional energy hub.

Gazprom Reaches 1.1 mmt of Marine Bunker Fuel in 2020

Gazprom Neft has doubled marine bunker fuel sales according to the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) by 3.5 times to reach 1.1 million tons (mmt) in 2020 and providing 20% of market share in low-sulphur, and ultra-low-sulphur bunkering fuel in Russia.

Qatar Petroleum to Supply 1.25 mmt of LNG for Bangladesh

Qatar Petroleum held a long term sale and purchase agreement (SPA) with Vitol to supply its final customer in Bangladesh with 1.25 million tons per year (mmt/y) of liquefied natural gas (LNG).

Damietta Receives First LNG Shipment to be Exported to Bangladesh

The Egyptian cabinet announced that the Damietta liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant has resumed its operation after its eight-year hiatus, by receiving the LNG carrier Golar Glacier coming from Singapore to load and transport 60,000 tons of LNG from Egypt to Bangladesh.

Russian Novatek company announced that its joint venture with Gazprombank, Cryogas-Vysotsk has produced the first one million tons of liquified natural gas (LNG) since the launch of the project in 2019.

Novatek Hydrocarbon’s Production Increases 3.1% in 2020

The Russian Novatek’s hydrocarbon production has increased by 3.1% to 608.2 million barrels of oil equivalent during 2020, compared to 589.9 million barrels of oil equivalent.
