Egypt’s output of petroleum products fell 1.26% to 2.818 million tons in October from 2.854 million tons in October 2016, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
Consumption of petroleum products also fell, decreasing 9.76% from 3.290 million tons in October 2016 to 2.969 million tons this October, according to statistics released by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
Consumption has fluctuated this year. In September, it stood at 3.256 million tons. The previous month, Egypt consumed 3.094 million tons of petroleum products.
Output has remained more stable. Egypt produced 2.809 million tons of petroleum products in August and 2.751 million tons in September.
