TAQA Arabia’s subsidiary, TAQA for Petroleum Products Marketing, will establish the depot to supply gasoline and diesel to its own operations as well as to service stations run by other companies in the Egyptian market.
The investment is part of TAQA Arabia’s continued expansion in petroleum products depots and fuelling stations business. The company currently operates storage depots in Suez and Amrieya, Alexandria, and plans to expand its storage capacity to support the distribution of petroleum products across the Egyptian market.
The company said the new facility is expected to enhance efficiency and boost returns from petroleum products supply operations.
Based in Cairo and with more than 25 years of experience, TAQA Arabia invests in, develops, constructs, and operates energy infrastructure projects spanning natural gas transmission and distribution, conventional and renewable power generation and distribution, and the marketing of petroleum products and lubricants through its nationwide network of fuel stations.
In June, TAQA Arabia signed an agreement with the military-affiliated National Service Projects Organization (NSPO) to acquire a stake in 172 fuel stations operated under the “Wataniya” brand.
