Cooperation Petroleum Company’s (Copetrole) market share of main petroleum products has reached 30%, while its share of oils stood at 21%, Ayman Naguib, Company’s Chairman, announced during a virtual general assembly meeting chaired by Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla.

In addition, Naguib shed light on the company’s sales of chemical products and marine fuels. The company, he noted,  has 1,245 fueling stations, and the use of natural gas as a fuel has been introduced into 95 of them.

During the meeting, the company’s significant achievements were reviewed, including the marketing and distribution of main petroleum products, oils, marine fuels, and petrochemical products. The total quantities sold amounted to approximately 6 mmt worth EGP 47.5 billion.

For his part, El Molla applauded the distinguished achievements manifested in developing retail stations and outlets and opening export markets in 12 Asian and African countries. He concluded by encouraging the company to continue expanding its activities.
