The Cabinet has allocated a plot of land to the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources to construct a natural gas compressor (NGC) plant in Beni Suef, according to a statement.

The land, located in the Eastern road in Beni Suef, will be utilized by the ministry to set up a natural gas compressor plant in order to increase the efficiency as well as the pressure of the natural gas grid within the province.

Additionally, the Cabinet agreed to adopt the decision of the Ministerial Committee, which was held on June 9, to settle investment contracts’ disputes between Petroceltic company and the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).
