The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MoPMR) confirmed that Eni’s drilling rig is on schedule to arrive at the Zohr field in January, dismissing claims of delays caused by adverse weather conditions.

The ministry emphasized that the rig will commence operations as planned, utilizing advanced technologies to boost production and align with the approved production strategies.
