Norway commenced consultations on 2021 licensing round offering new blocks for petroleum exploration in the Arctic Barents Sea, Reuters reported.
According to the map attached to a statement by oil and energy ministry, the new blocks are located in south east off Bear Island which half way between the Arctic Svalbard Archipelago and mainland Europe.
