Kami Group is considering constructing an integrated solar power complex in an area east of Beni Suef, Daily News Egypt reported.
The company has invited around 200 firms to invest in the solar industrial zone, which is projected to have all utilities, including water, electricity, natural gas, drainage, and roads.
The complex is planned to include 64 industrial units. Each unit will have a 250m2 area as well as a license for manufacturing and assembling the solar panels and the renewable energy accessories.
The solar industrial complex will support activities of 16 industries, including the assembly and manufacture of inverters, photovoltaic panels, aluminum accessories, LED lamps, plastic parts and chassis.
The complex will also house companies manufacturing solar water heaters, permanent magnets, wind turbine blades and specialty paints.
