During the 10th Egypt Oil& Gas Convention (EOGC 24), a panel session was held titled “Elevating Service Excellence: Empowering Oil & Gas Services Providers” addressing how to support the services providers and empower them within the sector.
The speakers of the session included; Salah Abdel Kerim, CEO of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), Sherif Bayoumy, Managing Director of SLB at Egypt and the Eastern Mediterranean, Ahmed Azzam, Egypt Country Manager of Baker Hughes, Osama ElShenoufy, Weatherford East North Africa Sales Director and Ismail El-Khouly, Chairman of NESR Egypt.
During the panel, Abdel Kerim emphasized the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation’s (EGPC) commitment to fostering cooperation and integration with international companies that provide services and solutions for the oil and gas industry. He highlighted that such partnerships are essential for ensuring the security and sustainability of energy supplies for present and future generations, as well as for delivering modern technology that benefits the industry.
He further stated that EGPC is striving for more effective collaboration with international companies and seeks to increase investment in developments that enhance operational efficiency.
