The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, affirmed the availability of petroleum products across the local market and that there is a strategic plan in the works to cover the domestic market’s demand, according to a press release.

The minister elaborated that this would happen through looking into the flow of fuel supplies from the stations and warehouses to the distribution stations via the operation room in the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).

El Molla’s remarks came during a meeting conducted to reassure the availability of the petroleum products in the local market as well as the exist of sufficient feedstock of octane, diesel, butane, and mazut to fulfill the citizens’ needs.

Additionally, he stressed on the constancy of work in the refineries and the butane plants especially after their exemption from the curfew.

Moreover, El Molla thanked the employees who work to provide petroleum products for their efforts and induced them for more excellent performance.
