Minister of Petroleum Tarek El Molla has appointed Akram Mohamed Ibrahim Badawy as the head of Sinai Petroleum and Mining Services Company (SSCO), Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

SSCO offers a range of services including mining, exploration, and maintenance along with equipment provision.

The Fund for Housing and Social Services of Employees in the Petroleum Sector  is the main shareholder of SSCO, owning 40% of its shares. The remaining shares are divided among six different national oil companies holding 10% each.
