The technical education and training ministry signed a protocol with the ministry of electricity to established a technical school in the field of nuclear power.

Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker said the move is part of the ministry’s strategy to diversify power generation in Egypt.  The school will start operating in the academic year 2016/2017 noting that the first batch will graduate after five years.
