The Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) has announced the closing of its  2015 International Bid Round, where the Technical Committee has now begun evaluating bids, reported Egypt Oil & Gas. According to sources at EGAS the bid generated significant interest. EGAS had issued the  bid round last February, offering 8 exploration blocks in the Mediterranean Sea of Egypt, adding 4 new blocks to the bid round in May to reach a total of 12.
