Dynamis Power Solutions, a US-based provider of hypermobile power generation solutions, and Baker Hughes, a global energy technology company, have secured a major order for 76 NovaLT™16 gas turbines, supporting approximately 1.3 gigawatt (GW) of hypermobile power generation capacity for data center projects and oil and gas applications across North America, according to a statement by Baker Hughes.
The order includes Baker Hughes’ NovaLT™16 gas turbines, paired with gearboxes and generators powered by BRUSH™ Power Generation. The gas turbines were booked during the second quarter (Q2), while the associated gearboxes and generators were booked in the third quarter (Q3).
The equipment will be integrated into Dynamis’ proprietary DT17 hypermobile power platform, which combines modular gas turbine generator packages with automatic voltage regulator (AVR) systems. The compact, modular design is intended to provide scalable, utility-grade power while reducing construction timelines, civil works, and deployment costs across various industrial applications.
According to Dynamis, the DT17 platform is designed to deliver high availability and operational flexibility, enabling customers to rapidly deploy natural gas-fired power generation to meet immediate electricity requirements.
Matt Crawford, CEO of Dynamis Power Solutions, said the collaboration combines Baker Hughes’ proven gas turbine technology with Dynamis’ hypermobile packaging to provide lower-emission, utility-grade power solutions capable of meeting the growing energy needs of data centers and critical infrastructure.

He noted that rising electricity demand in North America—driven by the expansion of data centers, digitalization, manufacturing, and energy infrastructure—is increasing the need for reliable, efficient, and rapidly deployable power solutions.
Based on Dynamis’ flagship DT35 platform, the DT17 is engineered to address short-term power requirements for industries that rely on natural gas generation. The system is designed to provide reliable performance in demanding operating environments while offering faster installation, commissioning, and maintenance compared with conventional power generation solutions.
