The Egyptian Company for Gas Transferring and Deliverance (Butagasco) launched its three-day safety event in all sites in line with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Safety Week, according to Ahram Gate.

Under the leadership of Butgasaco Chairman and Managing Director, Amr El Metwaly, several seminars were held in the company’s active sites, explaining the ‘safety walk down’ concept, as well as reviewing the safety practices implemented to face risks.

Moreover, El Metwaly delivered a speech to the employees, stressing the importance of the ministry’s safety initiative and its vital role in prioritizing  Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards in the petroleum sector.

Additionally, El Metwaly highlighted the need to deepen and spread more awareness among the employees on safety culture. Furthermore, he motivated them to maintain the current safety standards and do their best to improve upon those standards in order to achieve the main goal of working without any accidents or injuries.
