National Energy Services Reunited Corporation (NESR) announced that it was awarded multiple contracts for well intervention services by Tatweer Petroleum – Bahrain Field Development Company, according to a press release.
Commenting on the deal, Shaikh Mohammad bin Khalif Al Khalifa, the Bahraini Minister of Oil said that the exploration and production (E&P) industry has a long history in Bahrain, where the first well in the region was drilled.
Bahrain is poised to take a big leap forward, with the new discovery in Khalij Al-Bahrain Basin, the minister noted.
Meanwhile, Sherif Foda, Chairman and CEO of NESR said that the company is glad to establish a strong presence in Bahrain, which it will achieve with solid investment and the recruitment of the talented national workforce,” noting that NESR is committed to being a partner and key enabler in Bahrain’s extensive upstream growth plans.

It is worth noting that Tatweer Petroleum is responsible for all upstream operations in the Kingdom.
