Saipem has won two new offshore contracts in the Saudi Arabia under its Long-Term Agreement with Aramco, in the form of Contract Release Purchase Orders (CRPOs), further reinforcing its footprint in the Saudi market.

Under the first award (CRPO 154), Saipem will carry out engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) works for a water injection tie-in platform, in addition to two water injection wellhead platforms at the Safaniya offshore field. The scope also includes the installation of around 5 km of 24-inch pipelines and approximately 15 km of 15kV subsea cables. Safaniya is recognized as one of the largest offshore oil fields globally.

The second contract (CRPO 155) involves EPCI activities for four water injection wellhead platforms, alongside associated subsea infrastructure, within the same field.

Saipem is set to deploy its offshore construction vessels already operating in the region to execute the marine works, ensuring operational efficiency and timely delivery.

Fabrication works for both projects will be undertaken at the company’s Saudi fabrication yard through Saipem Taqa Al-Rushaid Fabricators Co. Ltd., supporting the localization of industrial capabilities and in-Kingdom value creation.

The latest awards underline Saipem’s continued expansion in Saudi Arabia and highlight the strength of its long-standing partnership with Aramco.
