Rashpetco, Burullus Gas Complete 9B Phase
Rashid Petroleum (Rashpetco) and Burullus Gas Company have successfully completed drilling the remaining six wells within the 9B phase of the West Delta Deep Marine (WDDM).

Shell announced that the “Discoverer India” Drillship will start drilling in the first 6,000 meters deep marine well, West Delta Deep Marine (WDDM) concession by the end of this August.
Despite the high natural decline rate, 9B phase will make up for the decline as it gets connected to Burullus field before the end of fiscal year (FY) 2018/19.
The first two wells from Phase 9B of Egypt’s WDDM concession are expected to come online in October 2018.
Shell has increased the amount of natural gas exported from its Idku liquefaction plant to 250 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscf/d), up from 150 mmscf/d in the previous fiscal year.
Royal Dutch Shell is renegotiating its agreement with the Egyptian government for its development of the Burullus field.
