CNOOC Begins Production at Xijiang Oilfield Blocks Ahead of Schedule

CNOOC has commenced production at its Xijiang 30-2 Oilfield Xijiang 30-1 Block Development Project located in eastern South China Sea, ahead of schedule.The project, with an average water depth of about 98 meters, is expected to reach a peak production of approximately 26,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) in 2027. The oil property is medium crude.
