Wintershall Dea, NWO to Cooperate on Wintershall Dea’s BlueHyNow Project

On Wintershall Dea's BlueHyNow project, Nord-West Oelleitung (NWO) and Wintershall Dea will collaborate. Wintershall Dea, Europe's largest independent gas and oil producer, is planning a plant to produce large quantities of low-carbon hydrogen from Norwegian natural gas. BlueHyNow is part of the EnergyHub being built in Wilhelmshaven. An MOU was signed between the two companies on 2 August, and a feasibility study will be completed by the end of the year. NWO's Wilhelmshaven site will be explored for the construction of a hydrogen production plant.

Siemens Energy Issues a Net Loss Warning due to Russia Restructuring

Siemens Energy, a company that provides equipment to the power sector, issued a warning that its net loss in 2022 would be greater than originally anticipated, based on a charge of about 200 million euros related to the restructuring of its business in Russia.
