Algerian national oil company, Sonatrach, has signed a multitude of oil and gas contracts with local companies totaling 67 billion Algerian Dinar ($520) , according to a press release.

Sonatrach has entrusted six Algerian companies to carry out the construction of collection networks and shipping lines for the South-West Gas Field Development Project for the implementation and maintenance of more than 700 km worth of pipeline.

The companies selected are: ENGCB, SARPI, ENGTP, ENAC, KANAGHAZ, and COSIDER Canalisation.

What’s more, Sonatrach and SAFIR/SARPI signed a contract for the development of TOUAT- Phase 2 West oil field. Once operational in 2022, the project will supply the Adrar refinery at a rate of 6,000 barrels per day (bbl/d).
