Shalateen Mineral Resources Company (SMRC) announces that it has extended the closing date of bid round number 1/2023 to November 9th, 2023.
The extension is for interested companies to participate through purchasing tender terms & conditions as well as data packages and are able to evaluate the bidding areas.
Additionally, the extension grants fair competition to achieve the bid round’s purpose and encourage international firms to invest in mining in Egypt. This comes within the framework of the directives of Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla to develop and modernize the mineral sector.
The bid round’s due date extension comes in continuation of the success of the Egypt Mining Forum and is based on the desire of the companies participating in the conference.
