Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in a telephone conversation, stated continuing their support for coordinating the global energy markets, the Kremlin said, Zawya  reported citing Reuters.

“Mutual attitude for further strengthening of multifaceted Russia-Saudi Arabia ties has been expressed,” the Kremlin said.

The two leaders praised bilateral cooperation between Russia and Saudi Arabia.

The next ministerial meeting of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-OPEC  is due to be held in Vienna in mid-April.
