Saudi Aramco has sold eight cargoes of high-sulfur fuel oil for November loading through a tender on a free-on-board (FOB) basis, according to Reuters.
The cargoes range from 80,000 to 100,000 tons each. Five are scheduled to be loaded from Jubail, while the remaining three will be loaded from Ras Tanura.
In September, Saudi Arabia sold about 60 million barrels (mmbbl) of crude oil from its Ras Tanura port in the Gulf for loading via ship-to-ship transfers at Oman’s Sohar port in October and November, as Reuters reported.
Aramco’s exports from the Gulf have rebounded to an average of 1 million to 1.5 million barrels per day (mmbbl/d), easing global oil prices by helping offset some of the volumes lost at its Red Sea port of Yanbu, where exports slowed following an attack on the East-West pipeline, Reuters reported.
