NOMP, ATD Agree Power Station Efficiency Increase

Egypt’s National Organization for Military Production (NOMP) has signed a protocol with UAE’s Advanced Technology Development (ATD), a leading provider of services, maintenance and development of power plants, Amwal Al Ghad reported.

According to the protocol, the subsidiary companies of the NOMP are responsible for the development and rehabilitation of power stations by improving the efficiency of fuel consumption as well as the local manufacturing of spare parts required for upgrading the stations for the ministry of electricity.

The information was revealed by Egyptian Minister of Military Production Mohamed El Assar, who attended the signing along with Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker.

ATD will also carry out maintenance, upgrade, and rehabilitation work on Egyptian power plants in cooperation with the military production ministry. Shaker stated that the company will transfer its expertise in this field to the military production companies by setting the technical specifications for the equipment and spare parts needed to manufacture them, as well as the power plants development projects implemented in Egypt.
