Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) on Tuesday emphatically denied rumours on social media sites about purported oil leakage at some installations.
According to the Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, smoke that billowed into the skies in the south of the country early today originated from the industrial zone in Mina Abdullah.The statement went on to say that KOC operations are proceeding regularly, along with standard safety precautions.
It was reported that there was a fire in a used tyre dump in the industrial zone early today that was later extinguished with sand.Source: Zawya
