Faulty Pipes Responsible for PetroRabigh Plant Shutdown

Saudi Arabia’s PetroRabigh shut down a hydrogen-producing facility on May 29 due to faulty pipes, the company said on Sunday.

PetroRabigh, a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical, said it is assessing the maintenance work needed and the duration required to fix the problem.

The company will also reveal the financial impact from the shudown, it said in a Riyadh bourse statement.
