Enppi company announced that it had recorded 13 million safe man-hours without lost time incidents in the Assiut Oil Refining Company (ASORC)’s Naphtha complex projects, according to a statement issued by the company.
Accordingly, the Chairman and Board Director Manger of Enppi, Ashraf Bahaa, received a certificate of appreciation from ASORC for this achievement which is considered one of the best safe hours records achieved by the company in its projects.
According to the statement, the new achievement comes in the framework of the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, keenness on implementing health, safety and environment (HSE) measures in all projects. Additionally, this progress affirms the success of the company to achieve HSE measures, despite Coronavirus outbreak.
Enppi is the general contractor for ASROC’s project which targets the establishment of complex at an annual capacity of 600,000 tons of naphtha. The project is expected to increase local production of octane, reduce exports, provide job opportunities in addition to facilitate transportation and distribution of petroleum products to Upper Egypt.
