Eni launched Open-es the new digital platform to develop sustainable industrial supply chains, which will be open to all companies involved in the energy transition process, according to Eni’s press release.

The platform can be accessed at www.openes.io. It will be open to all companies that want to play a leading role in the growth of the industrial ecosystem in terms of sustainability, both in Italy and worldwide.

The Open-es ESG data model will be based on the core metrics defined in the World Economic Forum (WEF)’s Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics initiative with a clear and flexible approach. It will allow all companies from Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to big corporations to align themselves with growth and development that focused on sustainable values to raise awareness throughout the value chain.

This initiative will help to take full advantage of the synergies between the sustainable transition and digital transformation, allowing the best practices in the field of sustainability throughout the industrial chain.
