El Molla to Launch Mediterranean Offshore Conference 2018

Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla will open the 9th Mediterranean Offshore Conference and Exhibition (MOC 2018) in Alexandria on April 17th, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

This year’s conference is titled ‘Mediterranean Potentials – Unlocked Step 2’ and will run from April 17th to 19th.

MOC 2018 will be held under the patronage of El Molla, and will bring together 200 national and international contributors from 12 countries. A total of 1600 people will attend the event, including large national and international firms, investors and industry experts. This will allow Egypt to showcase its competitiveness in the oil and gas exploration and production sector, and position itself as an important player in the industry.

El Molla emphasized the importance of the conference, which is being held at a lucrative time for Egypt’s hydrocarbon industry. Additionally, the government’s structural economic reforms are having positive effects on the petroleum sector, enabling it to expand its activities and attract increasing amounts of foreign investment.
