A press release to Egypt Oil&Gas stated that Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, is flying to Canada to attend PDAC Convention, world’s biggest mining show.

Earlier, El Molla has received an invitation from the Canadian Minister of Natural Resources, James Gordon Carr, to attend the PDAC Conference in addition to  attending the International Mines Minister Summit, which will be held on the sidelines of the conference.

Around 20 ministers are expected to participate in the discussion seminar.

El Molla said that the visit comes in the light of promoting and developing the mining sector strategy along with exchanging insights with participating ministers and senior government officials from 63 countries.

He added that the program of the visit will include meetings with APEC mining in Africa, and a number of bilateral meetings with  ministers of the participating countries, which have made great strides in developing its mining policies.
