El Molla Meets Oil Ministers

The Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, met with several petroleum ministers on the sidelines of the 16th International Energy Forum, held in New Delhi from April 10th to April 12th, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

El Molla met with Algerian Energy Minister, Mustapha Guitouni, to discuss new avenues for cooperation in the oil and gas sector. Both ministers are seeking increased collaboration after the success of Egyptian companies in completing natural gas projects in Algeria.

The Egyptian minister also discussed collaborative efforts in the petrochemical sector with Bahraini Oil Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.

Additionally, El Molla met with India’s minister for petroleum, Dharmendra Pradhan, to discuss the ways in which Egypt can benefit from Indian companies’ expertise as the Egyptian petrochemical sector expands and adapts.
