Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, reviewed the role of the General Trade Union for Petroleum Workers (GTUPW) within the framework of the ministry’s strategy to develop and improve the performance of companies and to increase the efficiency of the human capital, according to a press release.

During a meeting with GTUPW members, the minister highlighted the ministry’s keenness to strengthen the human capital as it is essential for the production process and discoveries increase. He also pointed out that the ministry is keen on providing a proper work environment for its personnel as developing and modernizing the sector is an integral part of its strategy. El Molla added that investments in human capital ultimately reflect positively on business results. 

El Molla also stressed that safeguarding personnel is a top priority and that is why development plans of the safety systems at petroleum sites should be reviewed regularly.
