Egypt’s natural gas output increased by 18.998% year-on-year (YOY), reaching 4.278 million tons in January 2019, up from the 3.595 million tons produced in January 2018, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
The monthly bulletin published by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) reveals that Egypt’s consumption of natural gas grew by 2.1% YOY to reach 3.731 million tons in January 2019, up from the 3.654 million tons consumed in the same month a year earlier.
Monthly figures show that Egypt’s natural gas output grew by 2.39% in January 2019, from the 4.178 million tons produced in December 2018.
