Negotiations with Kuwait are underway to supply with new quantities of petroleum products Egypt for the winter period during the years 2016 and 2017, reported Egypt Oil & Gas.

The quantity under negotiation is half a million barrels of gasoline and diesel per month to meet the fuel needs of citizens. The price of the shipments will be repaid within 3 years.

The source added that any new quantities contracted for will be added to the strategic reserve to prevent the return of any severe fuel crisis during the coming winters.
