Badr El-Din Petroleum Company (BAPETCO) achieved its highest rates of oil and gas production in 15 years, reported Daily News Egypt.

Emad Hamdy, Chairman of BAPETCO, said that the company increased the production of natural gas to reach 514 mscfd, and 51,000 b/d of crude in current fiscal year, in comparison with that of 43,000 barrels during fiscal year 2014/2015.

Hamdy noted that investments during fiscal year 2015/2016 are about $415m, and will be divided in three directions, $268m for the projects of field developments, $97m for operation and business expenses, and $50m for wells exploration and other expenses.
