Total, operator of Block 17 in Angola, with the Angolan National Oil, Gas and Biofuels Agency, started production from Zinia Phase 2 short-cycle project, connected to existing Pazflor’s Floating Production, Storage and Offloading unit (FPSO). Nine wells will be drilled as part of the project, which is anticipated to produce 40,000 barrels of oil per day (bbls/d) by the mid of 2022, according to Total’s press release.
