Weir Oil & Gas Dubai has signed a contract for rotating equipment rehabilitation services with a major UAE-based oil and gas operator, Pipeline Oil and Gas reported.

The deal involves enhancing reliability and repair-time on high-pressure and low-pressure compressors installed on an offshore platform, through the redesigning and re-manufacturing of critical aero components via Weir Advance Parts Solution process.

“Combined with our state-of-the-art facility and in-country engineering expertise, this renewed contract will support this organization’s operations for years to come,” said Ronan Le Gloahec, Weir Oil & Gas Eastern Hemisphere President.

Weir’s re-engineering capabilities and its comprehensive international facility near the customer’s sites have helped the company win the contract.

Weir Oil & Gas Dubai provides engineering and manufacturing service, including brownfield rotating equipment solutions, to increase asset life and reduce costs.
