ThinJack Ltd, the Scottish offshore oil and gas service company has reached an agreement with the Egyptian company, Yadco Petroleum Services to remove multiple well Christmas trees on surface platforms in Egypt’s Gulf of Suez, according to Energy Global.
Business Quarter magazine reported that this could be ThinJack’s largest-ever agreement in the Middle East region. The magazine added that the news of this agreement marks ThinkJack’s third anniversary with Yadco.
Offshore Engineer cited that ThinJack has received help from Scottish Development International to open up new opportunities in the Egyptian market, especially in the upstream energy sector and Egypt’s Yadco Petroleum Services will play a key role in the delivery of the new contract.
Energy Global had quoted Mr. Mostafa Ghalwash of Yadco Petroleum Services saying “This technology-based service, combined with the entrepreneurship and commitment of ThinJack Ltd’s staff, is sought after by Egyptian upstream operating companies with platform-based wells.”
