Taas-Yuryakh Neftegazodobycha, which is affiliated to Roseneft Company, has announced a new discovery of large gas and condensate field in Yakutia, after conducting appraisal drilling on the license area of Nizhnedzherbinsky, according to Neftegaz.

The new field produced over 75 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas and 1.4 million ton of condensate which have been registered with State Reserves Commission.

Specialists affirmed that the filed enjoys high productivity and commercial gas reserves noting that it has high potential for more exploration.

It should be noted that Taas-Yuryakh Neftegazodobycha develops 10 license blocks located in Yakutia.
