South Valley Cement Invests EGP 200m to Shift to Coal

South Valley Cement Company (SVCE) is currently installing a coal mill that is scheduled to be finished by mid-2016, said General Manager Ahmed Ibrahim to Amwal al Ghad. The cost of the mill is about EGP 200m ($25.5m). SVCE will need to import around 230,000 tones of coal annually to operate its factory in Beni Suef.
