Alexandria Mineral Oils Company (AMOC) recorded a 154% increase in consolidated net profit after tax, reaching EGP 3.47 billion in the first nine months of 2026, according to a company disclosure to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The company recorded a 41% YoY increase in consolidated sales to EGP 43.17 billion for the nine months.

On a standalone basis, AMOC’s net profit after tax nearly tripled to EGP 3 billion, up from EGP 1.03 billion in the first nine months of 2025. Standalone sales revenue also increased by 41% YoY to EGP 42.32 billion in the nine months.

During the nine months, the company’s consolidated gross profit more than tripled to EGP 5.64 billion. Meanwhile, standalone gross profit nearly quadrupled to EGP 4.92 billion.

Established in May 1997 as an Egyptian joint stock company, AMOC produces a range of petroleum products, including base oils, transformer oil, automatic transmission fluids, fully refined solid and liquid paraffin wax, low-sulfur gas oil, naphtha, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and fuel oil blends.

As of September 29, the company revealed the completion of the mechanical works for its $250,000 Acid Gas Treatment Project, which is expected to reduce carbon emissions by around 28,500 tons annually and generate about $2.5 million in annual savings through lower natural gas consumption.

AMOC has also completed a production trial for Group II base oils as part of its strategy to expand its high-quality lubricant feedstock production and strengthen its competitiveness in local and international markets.
