South Sinai Governor Inaugurates 55 KWH Station

South Sinai Governor, Khaled Fouda, has inaugurated a solar energy station in Abu Ghrkud village at Abu Rudeis in the presence of Schneider Electric Egypt’s Deputy CEO, Sherif Abdel Fattah, Al Mal reported.

Schneider Electric Egypt has constructed the 55-kilowatt-hours (KWH) station as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), with a cost of EGP 5 million.

Fouda requested an implementation plan from Schneider Electric to establish solar energy stations in order to operate one of the existing wells at Abu Ghrkud region, amounting to EGP 200,000.

On his part, Abdel Fattah promised to execute the above-mentioned project in the frame of the firm’s contribution to the provision of water.
