Chairman of Russia’s Rosneft  Igor Sechin and the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum  Sherif Ismail inked a deal that will allow both entities to join forced on educational projects, reported Egypt Oil & Gas (EOG).

The agreement was arranged during President Al-Sisi visit to Russia; and involves hosting Egyptian students in Russia’s universities, where the company will cover education costs, accommodation, scholarship support and medical insurance for the students.

A joint committee will be set up to arrange the type of the educational programs offered, qualifications of the participants, and the pattern of the contractual relations with the selected Russian university.

In the future, the specialists who completed their education under the program will have a chance to work in Russian-Egyptian oil and gas projects.
