Qarun Petroleum Company (QPC) drilled a new development well, AQSA-14 in the Western Desert, with an estimated cost of $1.153 million.
According to a top official at the company, the drilling depth averaged 9525 cubic feet and the well was drilled by the EDC-19 rig, in the Abu Gharadiq Basin.
Back to September 2010, QPC completed the development of Aqsa well 5 as oil, after it was drilled to the Lower Bahariya Formation.
